OVERVIEW
Managers and leaders often find themselves in key roles to influence how teams get along. Unfortunately, not all managers are conversant with the interpersonal skills required to anticipate, prevent and resolve workplace conflicts. This training examines peace, conflict and the nature of peace and conflict as it occurs in organizations. It is a new psychological approach to understanding and dealing with conflict as it provides valuable insights into all types of behaviours in dispute and aims to make easier and less stressful the lives of all those whose daily tasks involve managing workplace conflict. The functionality of conflict both destructively and constructively in certain contexts and the theory underlying the creation of integrated conflict management systems in an organization as well as the nature of such systems and how they are developed, designed and evaluated.
