YOUTH SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME (YSP)
The goal of this programme is to alleviate the socio-economic conditions that provide tempting occasions for incitement to violence. Youths in communities emerging from conflict are influenced by many factors to do things they would not normally do. Helping youth successfully make adjustments in their communities after crisis is crucial to post-conflict stability and development. To achieve this, we embark on various skill acquisition and economic empowerment schemes designed to engage the youths and the less-privileged productively in the society and provide them with a new lease of life for the future. Vocational training that will banish unemployment, poverty as well as idleness among the youths which will go a long way in making the youth less available as tools of violence, rather as peaceful nation builders, useful to themselves and the society at large. Skill acquisition training in:

• Technician Training
• Catering Services
• Clothing and Textile
• Soap Making
The centre embarks on the youth sponsorship programme by sponsoring selected youth from various affected communities on any of the above mentioned training after which funds are provided to help beneficiaries establish thriving businesses and be self employed.
